{"id":1865,"date":"2019-01-29T00:50:24","date_gmt":"2019-01-29T00:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/naiaonline.org\/blog\/?p=1865"},"modified":"2019-01-29T02:05:36","modified_gmt":"2019-01-29T02:05:36","slug":"former-hsus-bigwig-arrested-for-robbing-subway-restaurant-twice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/naiaonline.org\/blog\/animal-rights\/former-hsus-bigwig-arrested-for-robbing-subway-restaurant-twice\/","title":{"rendered":"Former HSUS bigwig arrested for robbing Subway restaurant twice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the weekend PETA and HSUS alumnus Scotlund Haisley, best known to our readers for his work in a dog breeder raid that led to the filing of a <a href=\"https:\/\/brownfieldagnews.com\/news\/dog-breeder-files-5-million-suit-for-raid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$5 million lawsuit against HSUS<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keloland.com\/news\/-the-dog-lover-based-on-a-true-story\/1372080103\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inspired a movie<\/a>, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animals24-7.org\/2019\/01\/28\/scotlund-haisley-takes-subway-to-jail-for-alleged-armed-robbery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">arrested for holding up a Subway<\/a> restaurant&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/wjla.com\/news\/local\/dc-police-man-arrested-robbing-subway-restaurant-twice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">twice<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GvUQOaOhhXE\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This revelation, once you think about Haisley&#8217;s history of banging down doors, is hardly a surprise, and the headlines practically write themselves (&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/carrollcox.com\/show101809.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">From pretend cop<\/a>\u00a0to real-life robber,&#8221; perhaps?).
